You could win an iPad Air from YouVersion's 21-Day New Year Challenge!

We're convinced that one of the best ways to engage with the Bible every day is to use the Bible App to complete one short plan after another. And did you know: if you do something consistently for just about three weeks, you can begin to lock it in as a habit? That's why we started the 21-Day New Year Challenge: to help inspire you to connect with God's Word every day for three weeks.

If you complete the day's selections from at least one Bible Plan each day from January 1 to January 21, you'll earn a special 21-Day New Year Challenge badge on your YouVersion profile.

Here's what you can expect

prizes

For each of the first 7 days of the Challenge, we'll send you a tip for a simple way you can connect with God's Word. And during the Challenge, if you tweet what Plan you're reading — don't forget to include the hashtag #BibleFor21 — you'll be entered to win one of the following: a YouVersion prize pack, an iPad mini, or an Android Nexus 7 tablet. And for those who complete the whole challenge, one lucky winner will get an iPad Air! Check our blog for rules and details.

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 NIV

Why we celebrate

Hope realized and joy fulfilled.
Join us as we celebrate the wonder of this day!

1 Read the story of Christ's birth in Luke 2:1-20.
2 Explore "The First Christmas Gift" story in the Bible App for Kids (with your kids...or if you're a kid at heart).
3 Watch stories in the brand-new Video series from Lumo, "The Story of Christmas."
3 Listen to passages about the birth of Christ in your favorite audio Bible.

How we can share

Being with friends and family often presents opportunities for you to share your faith. And if you already have the Bible App and the Bible App for Kids, it's easy!

1 Share verses about Jesus' birth on your favorite social networks — right from the Bible App.
2 Show people the Bible App and the Bible App for Kids on your phone — then offer to help them install one (or both) on their device.
3 Add friends and family as Bible App Friends, so you can share, encourage each other, and grow together.
3 Show your friends the Christmas Story Tracker website, where they can see all the places in the world where people are reading about Jesus' birth.

From all of us here at YouVersion, we wish you the very best this Christmas. And we hope you take many opportunities throughout this season to celebrate that He is come, and to reflect on all that means: Immanuel, "God with us."
