Now Playing in the Bible App: Wisdom, the Gospel, and the Torah.

As you read or listen to the Bible, do you ever wonder, "Why is this in the Bible? What was the author trying to do by including this?" Available now inside the Bible App, The Bible Project offers a new series of animated short films designed to explore questions like these. Taking one book at a time, each video helps you understand how that book's structure and themes fit within the bigger story the Bible is telling.

The Bible Project: The Wisdom Series

The Wisdom Series: Live well.

What does it mean to live well in God's good world? In "The Wisdom Series," three short videos — one each about Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Job — all work together to answer that question, from three distinct points of view.

The Bible Project: The Gospel Series: The Gospel According to Mark

The Gospel Series: Who was Jesus?

In this first of four videos, The Bible Project begins with background on the events that Mark chose to cover in his account of Jesus' life, then explains each of the three parts of the narrative structure of The Gospel According to Mark, one at a time — all in just five minutes.

The Bible Project: The Torah Series

The Torah Series: Setting up the Bible.

In Jewish tradition, the first five books of the Old Testament are called the Torah. "The Torah Series" walks you step-by-step through all five books, spending about five minutes on each, revealing along the way how the Torah's themes and literary structure connect its stories.

Get the New Story Memory Match Game

The next Bible App for Kids game is here!

Together with our partner OneHope, last month we released a huge Bible App for Kids update that made it feel brand-new. We introduced a new interactive map, new story icons, and all-new story activities,1 including the Story Mixup game. Today we're announcing our next new game:

Story Memory Match.

Story Memory Match is a classic matching game, where you tap one tile at a time to flip it over, looking for matches. For Two by Two, the story of Noah and the ark, adds a twist — kids have match male animals with their female mates.1 Your kids will want to play Story Memory Match again and again as they advance through all three of its difficulty levels. (Each level adds more tiles.)

As soon as you've updated your Bible App for Kids, look for the new Story Memory Match badge on story icons.2

Get Memory Match

1 Story Memory Match is available for Two by Two, Waters Part and Walls Fall, Through the Roof, Coming Home, and A Forever Promise. We'll be introducing more new games and activities for other stories in the coming months.
2 After you've updated your app, the first time you tap on a story that features an activity you haven't used before (such as Story Memory Match), the app will prompt you to redownload that story to get the new content.

Spread the Word.

Just like you, people are more likely to try a new app when a friend recommends it to them. (And offering to help them install it? Even better.) What if all you had to do to help kids fall in love with the Bible was tap a button? It really is that easy:

About Bible App for Kids

Four years ago the Bible App had been installed on tens of millions of devices. And as more and more people continued to discover it, we wondered: What if kids had their own Bible App? Together with our friends at OneHope, we envisioned a fun app that could introduce kids to the big stories of the Bible. The Bible App for Kids was born, featuring touch-activated animations and engaging content. Today the Bible App for Kids offers all 40 of those original stories we planned, plus a bonus story! Already available in 19 languages — with more still to come — the Bible App for Kids is being enjoyed by children all over the world. Installed on over 12 million devices, the Bible App for Kids is always completely free.
