What if every person in the world who wanted a Bible could have one? We believe they can. And you can help. A revolution is taking place within our lifetimes. Millions and millions of people all over the world are now reaching for the Bible…many of them for the first time. If you've felt what it's like to experience God's Word in your own language, then you understand the power it has to change a life. But those people who are seeking can only read God's Word (or listen to it) if they can find it in a language they know… More than a billion people still don't have the Bible in their language. To address that need, our visionary Bible partners are actively working on new translations. And because half of the world's population now has a mobile subscription (up from just one in five 10 years ago), they generously offer their Bibles through the Bible App and at Bible.com. In fact, since October of last year, they have provided 50 more new Bible versions, in 39 new languages. (The full list is below.) With these new additions, that means the Bible App now features 1,252 versions in 909 languages. For free. To anyone in the world who wants them. Even with this incredible progress, there are still 2,000 language communities who don't even have Bible translations started. You can help. Here's how: Check the Bible App to see if your language is there yet. Then use it to engage with God's Word every day. It's easy… Inside the Bible App, anytime you see a speaker icon in the menu above the Bible text, tap it. And if you don't see a speaker icon above the Bible version you happen to be reading: Tap the version abbreviation at the top of the app. Select another version — one with a speaker icon next to it. When you return to the Bible reader, tap the speaker icon. Start Listening Now Now even one verse at a time. In an all-new Bible App feature, several of our audio Bibles can now read to you one verse at a time (as opposed to an entire chapter at a time). (Choose whether to show or hide this floating button with the "Show Controls" switch.) *Audio Bibles are best experienced over Wi-Fi.
