Friends Encourage, Inspire, Challenge, Love, and Pray for One Another

The Bible reminds us again and again that we need relationships with people we can trust: Close friends who will encourage you, inspire you, challenge you, love you, and pray for you. And they need you to do the same for them.

Finding friends is easy in the Bible App.

Just tap anywhere you see the people icon (The Bible App's People Icon) or the word "Friends." You can search for specific friends, or invite friends from your Contacts, Facebook, or Google. And it's easy for them to join you. They can sign in with Facebook or Google, or create their own Bible App account.

What's in it for you?

The Bible is filled with stories of people sharing their lives, celebrating together in the good times… and helping one another through the hard times. In fact, there are so many reasons that we need friends, we couldn't possibly include them all here. Here are just a few examples:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NIV
Proverbs 13:20 ERV
Proverbs 27:17 NLT
Proverbs 18:19-20 AMP

It’s not too late…

Been putting off getting into the Bible? It's never too late.

The trick to making positive changes that stick (such as spending time in God's Word) is simply picking something small, then repeating it every day.

That's just what Bible Plans do.

Each day, the Bible App gives you a short, manageable passage to read or listen to. If you like, you can have your Plan remind you when to read, or even email you with each day's reading.

The best strategy is to start with a shorter Plan, just a few days. As soon as you complete it (yay!), start your next one. Over time, you'll see a habit form, and you'll gain the confidence to take on longer, more in-depth Plans. You can do this!
