Your Top Bookmarks

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

—Philippians 4:6 (New International Version)

As we shared recently on our blog, that's the Bible verse the YouVersion community bookmarks the most. See if your favorite verse is on this list of top Bookmarks from all over the world:

Top 10 Bookmarked Verses

With your free YouVersion account, Bookmarks are a great way to remind yourself about God's promises, miracles, and wisdom for our lives. Whether you're Bookmarking to mark your favorites, help you memorize, or track verses you want to share, the Bible App™ makes it easy to return to specific verses again and again. How long has it been since you've gone through your Bookmarks? And did you know…now you can even manage your Bookmarks online at YouVersion.com?

Wherever You Go, the Bible App is There

Many of us will be traveling during the next few months, whether on holiday or visiting friends and family. When your schedule changes, sometimes it's hard to keep your Bible reading on track. Fortunately, the Bible App has you covered. Whether you're driving or riding, you can listen to audio versions of the Bible right from your Reading Plan! Just look for the audio icon or play controls. (But not *while* you're driving of course!) And before you head out, it's also a good idea to make sure you have some offline versions downloaded to your device. Then if you're someplace without reliable Internet or mobile coverage, you can still keep up with your reading. To see which versions you want to download to your device, list all the versions, tap the download icon for available versions, and follow the easy, step-by-step instructions. Read more on our blog.

Featured Plan: Remembering All God Has Done

Not all Reading Plans commit you to a whole year of reading. (In fact, only a few of them do.) YouVersion offers Plans from five days, seven, fourteen, thirty, and sixty. One of our more popular short plans, the five-day Remembering All God Has Done, helps remind you of all the ways God has shaped you into the person you are today. Each day presents a passage from the Bible, along with a quick devotional exercise reflecting on the key events that have directed your unique walk with Christ. Sign up for it now!

Did You Know?

Can you believe we're already almost halfway through 2012? If you've found yourself a little behind on your Reading Plan—or even a lot behind—don't give up! It's easy to get back on track…without trying to read hundreds of passages all at once. Simply go to your Plan settings and select "Catch Me Up." Your Plan calendar will reset, making the last full day you completed yesterday's reading, so you can pick up right where you left off. You can select Catch Me Up inside the Bible App or online at YouVersion.com. It's quick, easy, and painless. Best of all, it gets you back into God's Word daily.

In Your Own Words

  • "Thoroughly recommend listening to the good book on a long drive. Get thru a lot more than when doing the reading myself. #YouVersion"
    —John
  • "Spent my morning listening to @YouVersion on the way to work. Good way to start the day."
    —Ricky
  • "(nervous laugh) you bet i'm behind on my reading plan! glad @youversion sent me an email to tell me it's ok… that i can reset!"
    —Ansy
