Make Bible history: Help get God's Word to people who have never had it.

If you saw our invitation earlier this year for #BibleForEveryone, you already know that the worldwide YouVersion Community has committed to help get God's Word translated for more than a billion people who don't have it yet. It starts here:

Most languages don't even have a complete New Testament.

Visionary Bible translators have already begun, working toward their goal of translating the New Testament for 99.9% of the world's population by 2033. You can join in this historic move of God.

Change the world…before this year is out.

YouVersion has already been working with Bible translators, identifying high-impact projects that they could complete quickly with just a little more funding. Life.Church is committed, too — they're matching your contribution to Bible translation.1

The YouVersion Community's giving is already making a difference. Thanks to the generosity of those who supported our first two projects, almost 75,000 people in Zambia will soon receive the book of Acts for the first time, and some 140,000 people in Tanzania will have their own, brand-new New Testament. Today, we're announcing our third project:

Will you help persecuted Christians in Southeast Asia finish their New Testament by the end of 2017?

Political and religious opposition in Southeast Asia make Bible translation there extremely dangerous, so we can't share specifics. What we can say is that some churches and YouVersion partners are helping native speakers fulfill their plan to complete the New Testament in four new languages by the end of 2017.

Their courageous sacrifice will make God's Word available for up to 960,000 people…and possibly encourage similar projects. Join us in praying that God accelerates their work. And give. When people experience God's Word in their own language, it has the power to change their eternity.

After this I looked, and there in front of me was a multitude that no one could count, people from every tribe and every nation.

Revelation 7:9a

1 All contributions received through the #BibleForEveryone campaign will be used exclusively for the purpose of Bible translation. Life.Church is contributing $250,000 during calendar year 2017, spread across different, high-impact translation projects. As each project is completed, any remaining funds are then applied toward the next translation project, as selected by YouVersion and its partners. (See our original blog post for full details.)
